Get off the sideline and onto the track! Roller Derby Foundations is the perfect way to learn to skate, start your roller derby journey, or just try something new. No experience is required. Our experienced trainers will teach you all the skills you need in a safe and supportive environment.
Foundations classes focus on skating skills that are specific to roller derby such as: skating form, blocking, strategy, rules, working in the pack and playing the game.
After completion of Foundations and passing a WFTDA minimum skills assessment, you will join Tri-City league practices and the farm team, the Total Knock Outs, where you will continue to develop your skills and be eligible to play games.
