Tri-City Roller Derby is proud to announce the sixth year of the Put Up Your Toques!!

Join us on May 8-10, 2020 for an action packed weekend of Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby with a series of sanctioned and regulation bouts from some of your favourite teams.

October 19 – SODA Cup “A” Finals

An entire season of bouts, leading up to the top four teams playing for the SODA Cup!

The first game of the night, will be your third and fourth place teams. Battling it out for bronze will be Tri-City’s own Venus Fly Tramps, and the Killer Queens of Royal City Roller Derby!

The second bout of the evening is for gold and silver! The Atom Smashers of Durham Region will be playing Tri-City’s Vicious Dishes! In the last game of the round robin, the Atom Smashers took the win over the Dishes – but don’t let that result fool you – the Dishes are ready for a rematch!

All Tri-City Roller Derby games are family friendly and appropriate for all ages. We offer activities to our younger fans when they need a little break from the action.

Snacks will be available for purchase as well as our merch and some other fabulous booths by our amazing supporters! So bring your CASH!

Come one, come all!

This will be your LAST CHANCE to see our TKO’s and your Thunder šŸs in action in 2019! It’s guaranteed to be an action packed night so be sure not to miss it.

The first bout of the evening will feature Tri-City Roller Derby’s Thunder šŸ Team. This is a renewed team to Tri-City, but don’t let that fool you, they are disciplined, have been working hard all season and are ready to take on their friends – the Rum Rollers of Royal City!

The second bout of the evening will feature the Total Knock Outs. The TKO’s are our newest skaters, and they are taking the roller derby world by storm! Come cheer on our newest recruits while they play the DRRDY Farmers of Durham.

All Tri-City Roller Derby games are appropriate for all ages. We offer activities to our younger fans when they need a little break from the action.

September 7, 2019 – Dishes and Juniors!

Looking for some hard hitting roller derby action? You’ve come to the right place! And the place is Moses Springer Community Centre.

The first bout of the evening will featureĀ Tri-City Junior Roller Derby. These amazing junior athletes will impress you with their impressive abilities and gameplay.

In the second bout you’ll see Tri-City Roller Derby’s very own Vicious Dishes while they combat the Atom Smashers from Durham Region Roller Derby in this SODA Cup – Southern Ontario Derby Alliance bout! The Dishes and the Atom Smashers are tied for first place in their SODA division, so this is sure to be a doozie of a bout.

Tri-City Roller Derby games are appropriate for all ages. We offer activities to our younger fans when they need a little break from the action.

Tri-City Roller Derby is back for its 11th season of full contact roller derby action in Kitchener-Waterloo!

Mark the following double-header dates down:

  • Saturday, October 19 – SODA (Southern Ontario Derby Alliance) Finals – New Hamburg Arena (excluded from season pass)

Doors open at 4, with the first game at 5. Season tickets are only $40 and are on sale now.

Plus theĀ Put Up Your ToquesĀ invitational tournament will be taking place May 4-6 at Waterloo Memorial Rec Complex. Add a full tourney pass to your season ticket for only $20 more.

Tri-City’s Put Up Your Toques is back May 3-5, 2019 for its fifth year, and you don’t want to miss out on Canada’s longest running active Women’s Flat Track Roller Derby invitational, featuring three days of exciting sanctioned and regulation bouts.

**Note the venue change: We will be moving Put Up Your Toques to RIM Park. The Waterloo Siskins Junior B Hockey Club have earned their place in the Championships for the Sutherland Cup, which means that the City will be keeping the ice at the Waterloo Memorial Rec Centre to accommodate. Congrats to the Siskins on a very successful season thus far!

Our new location, Rim Park is located at 2001 University Avenue East, Waterloo, ON N2K 4K4.
